Burnout: Understanding Chronic Stress in the Workplace
The World Health Organization categorizes burnout as an “occupational phenomenon” not an individual disease or syndrome, yet our solutions have historically put the responsibility of healing on individual employees through “self-care” initiatives. This workshop addresses the mutual relationship between worker and workplace by exploring organizational risk factors for burnout, how to build a culture of wellness, and tools to evaluate and manage our personal stress levels.
