Steven Cohen
Steven (Steve) Cohen attended Northeastern University in Boston Mass and attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management. He and his wife of 44 years Faith moved to Southern California in 1981 where they had 2 daughters and lived in Torrance for 39 years. Steve and Faith currently live in Las Vegas.
Steve has over 30 years’ experience working with Advisors and Plan Sponsors. He was a DCIO (Defined Contribution Investment Only) wholesaler for one of the top 15 Mutual Fund firms in the industry where he trained countless plan sponsors and advisors on their Fiduciary responsibilities and best practices for the Investment Committee. Recently, he has been recognized 4 times by his peers and clients in the annual NAPA (National Association of Plan Advisors) Advisor Ally poll (formerly called Wingman) as a top wholesaler to the advisor community. Early in his career Steve was an insurance broker who sold the ASPA (American Society of Pension Actuaries) endorsed Errors and Omissions insurance program. Steve retired from the mutual fund firm in 2022 but missed working with and helping Plan Sponsors and their employees navigate the guidelines of ERISA as it relates to management of a Defined Contribution plan, so he formed an LLC and started training HR executives as well as the investment committee member virtually and in person.
