Meet the Panel:
Erika Nilles-Plumlee is a dynamic leader focused on aligning business strategy with people strategy. She is a strategic partner providing guidance on talent acquisition, positive employee engagement, and retention. She effectively collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to maintain organizational alignment and is an influencer across all levels of the company in support of operational and financial objectives. Erika is currently the Director of Human Resources for StoneBridge Senior Living overseeing 22 locations and 1500 employees throughout the mid-west. Prior to StoneBridge Senior Living, Erika was the HR Manager for Lyons Blow Molding, a plastic bottle manufacturing company where she improved company culture by creating a meaningful approach to employee growth and development. Erika also worked for the Kansas Department of Corrections developing and overseeing programs throughout the criminal justice system. Erika has a master’s degree in social work administration from the University of Kansas and obtained her SHRM-CP certification.
In her role as Assistant Vice President, Sr. Employee Experience Designer for Commerce Bank, Becki Feldmann provides dynamic and engaging leadership in the attraction and retention of employees. She was recruited for her energy, enthusiasm, and passion for creating great places for people to work. She puts this into action working with team members and stakeholders across the bank with a focus on ensuring employees have the resources and relationships they need to succeed, the opportunity for their voice to be heard and most importantly feel that they belong. Sarah Davidson, PHR, SHRM-CP is the Vice President of Human Resources at Roeslein & Associates, an international engineering, manufacturing, and construction firm. When Sarah joined in 2013, they had 200 employees; today, they have grown to 12 entities, 1,200+ employees, and have no plans to slow down. Based on her contributions at Roeslein, Sarah won the 2020 Human Resources Award from the St. Louis Business Journal.
Prior to Roeslein, Sarah served in HR and Safety leadership positions with manufacturing, logistics, and environmental companies throughout the Midwest. She holds her PHR, SHRM-CP, California micro-credential with SHRM, B.S. in Management with an emphasis in Human Resources, and MBA from Saint Louis University. Shannon Norman is Senior Director People & Culture at Avadel Pharmaceuticals, a Leadership & Confidence coach, speaker, author, and the founder of the movement Accept The Compliment.®. Shannon helps women in male-dominated industries break through the glass ceiling. Using her methods, her clients have the tools to get the promotion they deserve. Shannon founded Accept The Compliment.® to spread awareness to increase confidence around the world. She speaks at schools, associations, groups, and to organizations of all sizes. Shannon has over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, coaching hundreds along the way. In addition to holding a Senior Certified Professional certification in Human Resources, she is also certified by the International Coaching Federation, the gold standard in the coaching industry, and serves as President of the International Coaching Federation St. Louis MO chapter. Shannon earned an MBA at Southeast Missouri State University Harrison College of Business. She was a non-traditional student who furthered her education as a working adult.
Ashley Nelson is an innovative, results driven leader. As the Chief Human Resources Officer at True Manufacturing Company, she supports domestic and global business initiatives by executing people focused programs and practices to achieve the organization’s goals. Ashley is dedicated to modernizing and transforming the HR function which is fueled by her passion of continuous improvement and influencing organizational change. Ashley has over 15 years of HR experience in the manufacturing industry. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University, a master’s degree from Lindenwood University, and is PHR and SHRM-CP certified. She serves on the Executive Board for the O’Fallon Chamber of Commerce and Industries. Ashley lives in Kirkwood, Missouri with her husband and two children. She and her husband own a real estate investment business named after their two sons, Henry and Harrison. When not at the baseball fields or soccer park, they enjoy traveling the globe experiencing new cultures and food.
